I have tutored for Title I Schools (k-8) in the Dysart School District since the beginning of 2008. I have also worked as a Special Ed assistant. I have experience working with students grade level k-8. I specialize in working with learning disabled students in the areas of language arts and reading. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a passion for education. I believe that children can learn without even knowing it! Children love to play games and I make teaching like a game for them, so they have a great time and they are learning. There is substantial information that suggests that children retain knowledge if they thoroughly understand it and if they are having fun learning it. I haven't met to many children that don't remember rules and the directions of how to play boardgames especially if they have a blast playing it! I know that every child wants to learn and I will strive to make sure that each and every child will have the opportunity to learn at their fullest potential.
