I like to ask children or students how do they like to learn? and once they tell me how they like to learn i teach them the way they like to learn so that they remember what they need to know.
I have had all A's through out school including college. I went to school for nursing and Algebra and anything with numbers is my specialty. I enjoy working with others an being a mentor and teaching people. I've tutored many students my age and younger and older than me and i've never had no complaints. I have studied guitar since1972. I have taught thousands of lessons from informal setting with children to college level courses to older adults individually and in groups. I have played various stringed instruments in professional and other performing bands for most of the past 20 years. I currently teach elementary music and high school choir courses at a local public school. I use guitars and other stringed instruments in the classroom as well as offering after-school lessons and classes. During all these years, I have spent the most time teaching beginners and intermediate players. I send much of my at-home time playing and recording guitar and I would continue to be involved with music if I never earned another dime at it.
