I am a visual learner and work well with other visual learners. I simplify the topic for the student for easy explanation and understanding, so we can then build upon the foundation for more in-depth understanding. I have a passion for teaching others and spreading my knowledge- I enjoy not only helping a student to understand, but to also become a mentor. A Little Bit About Me...

What I have discovered about myself is that I learn differently from other people. I am the kind of person who prefers to set aside that assembly instruction manual and put together that Christmas toy by laying out the pieces in an orderly fashion. There is so much pleasure in problem solving. I learn by asking myself questions. I have little patience for mundane drills and memorization if they can be avoided. Each child is different. I attended Furman University on a full academic and golf scholarship where I majored in Health and Exercise Science. My strengths during school were math and science subjects.
