My innate teaching abilities became evident and I was highly sought after. Returning to college to earn my teaching certification, I gained experience in special education teaching summer school. I fundamentally believe anyone can learn. If a student isn’t grasping a concept, it just means I have to change my style of teaching. So what is my teaching style…anything that helps a student achieve his or her potential. But the one thing I teach all my students is how to find their learning style. Once you know how you retain information you can do anything.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught for over 25 years in settings as varied as inner city schools in NYC to a small public school in Arlington Vermont, and an elite private school at Stratton Vermont. I have taught remedial, basic, bilingual and honors level classes in Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science in class room settings. I have tutored various sciences and math, including Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 on basic and honors levels. I have also tutored students for SAT prep in English and Chemistry. My undergraduate degree as an English major has enabled me to excell at writing research papers during my medical science career, as well as help my students with research projects and papers.
