Guitar is one of my top subjects! I have been playing guitar for about two and a half years; know all the basic chords and power chords; along with the most common strum patterns, most used key; and self-tuning tricks.
I can learn most songs within reason.
I tutored one person in high school in the basics of guitar; and equipped them with knowledge of tabs and chord reading.
I am a highscool graduate and am currently taking college classes. I have tutored many elementary age students in elementary subject areas; especially literature, writing, grammar, art, and music. I have tutored high school age students in music and art. I have also tutored middle school age students in music and art.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring in a public area. I am a fun , encouraging tutor in the elementary subject areas; and am enthusiastic about art and music for all ages. I prefer an encouraging approach with lots of rewards and positive feedback; and if things get too rough, I change my style up a bit to accomodate the student's needs.
