As a graduate student at Kansas State University I have learned the value of education. I was awarded a BA, Social Sciences, in December, 2000. Upon relocation to kansas city, Missouri, in 2001, I began training in a teacher education program, 2003, Kansas City Missouri school district, earning teacher certification, Adult Basic Education,2003. Such included teaching GED related courses,2003-2007, and substitute teaching, k-12. I also served in telemarketing for both the Kansas City Star Newspaper and the Nelson Gallery of Art, 2002-2009. Current employment:full-time as an Interventionist at Manhattan High School, Manhattan, Kansas, as of January, 2010. I have worked in a higher education environment since 2000. I tuaught CPR and First Aid classes for 4 years for Child Care providers from 1996 to 2000. I am one class from completing my MBA in accounting. I will officially graduate in May of 2010.
I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education.
