A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Case Western Reserve University with an ACS certified degree in Chemistry. I have always liked science very much, and so I went on to study Biochemistry at UT Austin. I have a solid background especially in Biochem, Organic, and General Chemistry. I have taught General and Organic chemistry to undergraduates as a TA. I worked with students in both one on one settings and in lectures with larger groups. I was a teaching assistant, graded all exams, and worked with students in place of the professor.
I have always been good with students. I tutored in grade school and high school. I was able to teach my brother, who has learning disabilities, enough chemistry in two weeks to get a B on his final and pass the high school chemistry class that he was failing. I have already been a full-time teacher, including one year of high school Spanish and two years of Undergraduate Spanish at Indiana University. Just recently, I concluded a double-Masters program at IU, the first degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and the second in Teaching Social Studies. While attaining my bachelors at Columbia University and my doctorate at the University of Chicago, I have had many opportunities to tutor and instruct students on a broad range of subjects including math, biology, philosophy, and literature.
