My involvement in a Tutor/Mentor program at an international high school was an experience that was invaluable. What I learned is that education becomes a form of symbiosis. I'm a firm believer that all children are different, yet, all are capable of learning. It is the responsibility of the teacher/tutor to identify the specific learning style of the students they are responsible for. Once this has been established, there should be a lot of motivation from both, teacher/tutor and the student.
