By the completion, in May, of my graduate degree, I will have taught 45 hours of undergraduate English courses in Composition/Rhetoric, Business Writing, Literature, Creative Writing and Essay Writing. I have enjoyed substitute teaching since 1991; it was a part- time occupation that worked well as I re-entered the college scene in order to advance my AA degree to a BA in Political Science. Life and destiny urged me to earn a teacher's certification in Texas, where I later worked as an ESL 4th-5th grade teacher in the Waco (Texas) Independent School District for three years.
