I have worked in the educational field for 25 plus years now. My first experience in the profession was in the mid-80's as a private tutor for junior high and high school students. I was also hired by my town and a neighboring town to provide homebound instruction. Subject areas I was responsible for included social sciences, American and world history, mathematics and English. Upon completion of my certification requirements I was employed at a small private school. The school specialized in assisting students with learning and developmental disabilities. During the evenings I worked in the adult education program of a local town. Subject areas I taught were civics, English as a second language and external diploma program. I have been teaching spanish and guitar for over 40 years and I am very confident within my methods of teaching. I may not have a degree in spanish but with 55 years of experience with spanish I know what it takes to become successful within the language. A Little Bit About Me...

Education in my life has been my number one motivating factor for success. Throughout my educational career I have always been organized and a group leader when it came to helping my fellow students with projects/homework/studying, etc. For many years I tutored individuals in English, Math, Social Studies/History, German, Psychology and Arts. My experiences have all been validating. Sometimes schools are limited in the amount of extra attention they can give certain students and that is where being a great tutor comes into play. In college I was a teacher's assistant for an introduction to womens studies class and it was a very rewarding experience to help other students clarify and learn information.
