My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way. As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.

My work experience is a unique combination of teaching and entrepreneurship. Following college graduation I worked as a general manager for a highly successful restaurant, where I managed a staff of over 70 employees. I excelled at training young staff to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the workplace. Inspired by my training and development responsibilities as a manager, I chose to return to school to earn my Masters of Science Degree in the field of Business Education (from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater). As a high school teacher, I taught a variety of classes including accounting, marketing, finance, business law, computer applications, and web design. I have an array of academic and business experience that I can share with students. I am interested in working with students of all ages. My skill areas include: MATH STATISTICS BUSINESS PROOFREADING MS EXCEL I am very patient and attentive to the student's needs. I look for signs that indicate understanding and ask questions to detect misunderstandings. I am particularly effective in drawing pictures to illustrate complex concepts. This helps students understand at a deeper level and increases retention.

I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography. I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
