Violin is one of my top subjects! Concert Master of three orchestras, leader of String Quartet, and ranked in the Top 10 of Onondaga County for performance.

I have been performing for eight years on the violin. My education includes music instruction since third grade, private instruction for over three years, and an advanced education in music theory. I have performed in multiple ensembles, including: Syracuse Youth Symphony, a multitude of Advanced Orchestras, CNS String Quartet, Crane Youth Symphony, and other miscellaneous groups. I have been teaching privately since September of 2012. Previously to this I have been a sectional leader for two years for the Cicero - North Syracuse High School Orchestra, instructing a group of ten violinists at least once a week before rehearsal.

I love teaching and helping children to succeed. I believe that it is important for children to develop a life long love of learning. This should be accomplished through a safe and supportive environment and facilitated by a child-centered curriculum. I also believe students learn best when they can relate to what they are learning, as well as being immersed in it. This is best accomplished through integrated learning.
