I tutored other classmates in Calc 1 to Calc 4 using easy memory tricks to remember formulas for Integration derivitatives of equations. I like working with students and believe I can provide a service that will help them with the math they will use in the real working force. I attained my first degree in Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University in 2003. After working in that field for a few years, however, I chose to change my career path. I then went back to school at the City College of New York to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. I am happy to say that I am graduating this month (December 2010), and have not regretted pursuing this second degree at all. Most of my career has been spent at IBM, where I built on my Physics background for a broad range of opportunities. I am now seeking to move into a teaching career and plan to start a Masters in Teaching in the Fall of 2009. During my educational development, I taught for three years in undergraduate and graduate school as part of the duties of a teaching Assistant. I enjoy my job tutoring as much as I enjoy my research and learning new information myself. I have always believed that anyone can learn physics and math.
