I have spent thirty-five years in the field of education. During my college years I worked in the early childhood field and I worked as a private tutor as a means of supporting my education. Since that time I have worked in public schools, religious organizations, private educational facilities, and non-profit organizations partnering with public schools. The past thirteen years my work has primarily been in the early childhood and elementary field, providing educational services to young children and their families. I have always been interested in science and using that science to benefit humanity. In college I pursued a bachelor degree in Biology and was president of molecular/mircobiology club and was an anatomy, organic chemistry, and physics tutor. As an undergraduate I was able to be involved in forensic DNA research. After graduating I entered medical school where I have pursued research interests in pediatric infectious diseases, and middle ear dysfunction. In medical school I tutored students in pathology and pharmacology. My passions are teaching and patient care. I have a teaching style that is very adaptive to any individual. I am very patient and understanding that multiple approachs to grasp a subject may need to happen. I try to base all knowledge around concepts instead of rogue memorizing. I prefer 1:1 tutoring but have experience lecturing to large audiences.
