Elementary Education and ESL

In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. When it came to Kindergarten he still had many health issues so we thought it was best to keep him home and I began to Homeschool him. Homeschooling has worked well for him and his younger sisters so I have continued even though his health is far better. He is now entering 6th grade. Experienced, licensed and fun first grade teaacher!!

I like to teach in a way that your child can relate to. I try to make whatever we are learning fun and relate to their everyday life. I have a lot of hands on manipulatives too in my classroom which I am able to bring with me when needed!
