English is one of my top subjects!

I am a recent graduate of Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania (May 2011). I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing. I also have a minor in photography. During my time at Mercyhurst College, I worked as a writing tutor in the school’s writing center. When students entered the center, it was my job to immediately make them feel comfortable by greeting them with a friendly smile and asking what I could help them with. After this, the students’ explained their assignment and expressed any concerns they had or anything their professors wanted them to work on. I then proceeded to read their paper and used my knowledge and experience to work with them to help revise and edit the essay. Education Should Be An Experience!

I have been teaching at the University, Community College, High School, and Middle School levels for over twenty years now. My experience has been diverse and has been in front of diverse students.
