My passion as a teacher is working with children. I have a passion for education that I hope to show through my teaching and share with all of my students. I believe every student learns differently and has strengths and weaknesses. My goal is to get to know my student's leaning styles and help them develop their strengths and use those strengths to improve the areas that are more difficult for them. A Little Bit About Me...

Prior to my second career in the field of service to at-risk senior citizens, I taught English for four years at Westport High School. Following the reduction in force made necessary by budgetary constraints, I taught for ten years at the Crystal Springs School in Assonet, MA as a Special Needs teacher. While rewarding, I missed the challenge of more literary pursuits and began teaching evening classes at a local communuity-based organization. My tutoring experience had its inception in that setting.
