After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers. My skills as an educator served me well and I did extremely well. After approximately 8 years I decided I wanted to go back to teaching, and have been teaching the use of computers. A Little Bit About Me...

I would best describe my method of teaching as a give and take experience. Through diologue, I am able to lead the student through the thought process that will derive the correct answer. Giving bits of information can provoke a new approach to the task at hand. I also feel it is important to individualize each person being tutored, as everyone learns differently. Some learn best through the use of things such as pnuemonic devices, while others may need repitition to effectivily remember the material. I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills. While I was an undergraduate, volunteering was very important to me. One of the places I volunteered was an after school program for children who live in Hamilton Hill.
