I find that each person has a different learing style and try to find out what works for them. I also teach them that organization of thoughts and ideas are helpful in how they approach learning. I relate the subject matter to what is needed to learn and to something that they can relate to. I believein repetition and that all people can learn if someone takes the time to find out their individual learning style. How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Practiced for years as an attorney for NYS. Semi-retired now. I have also been a tutor with the Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) in Albany, NY. I met with a Korean graduate student at U. Albany and helped him learn English. I am also able to help in foreign language tutoring with German and French.
