I am a college student who has taken calculus, calculus II, and multi-variable calculus. I have recieved A's in all of these classes and consider myself to be very capable of teaching high school level mathematics. My major is currently declared as Studio Art with a concentration in woodworking. I initially began study as an engineer and completed the first year of classes before deciding to pursue Studio Art with an intention to attend architecture school down the road. I still have an interest in both Engineering and Computer Programming, but such areas are currently more of a hobby than an expected profession.

I believe I'm quite a good teacher because I'm firmly committed to excellence in academic work, but I don't believe in being pedantic or dreary about it. My own interests are quite broad, and I think I'm quite good at finding ways to make academic subjects relevant and appealing to each student's particular experience and worldview. The majority of my experience teaching is teaching children with special needs including many children with autism.
