As a business woman of 24 years, I have gained valuable experiences in many different sectors; banking, customer service, marketing, sales, public relations and teaching. I excel in the Marketing/PR field which entails most of the jobs I have held. I also like teaching children. Most of my teaching has been with grades K-8 which I really enjoy. During my years of private piano teaching, I learned so much from the students as far as "teach the child the subject, not teach a subject to a child." Each child is unique and different. I love capturing their attention using fun learning methods.

I understand that some children respond to teaching styles that others do not. I am patient and encouraging. I am trained to use innovative teaching techniques to help students better understand and remember challenging subjects. My fine art background allows me to be creative with lessons. I have been trained to make connections between the subject to be learned and subjects that student enjoys. I strive to make learning enjoyable and memorable for my students.
