I have an associate degree in Digital Media and a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. I have recently graduated from my BS program from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a 3.44 GPA. I have spent the last eight years in school working in graphic design. I am familiar with the Adobe family of products. Photoshop is my first love. I am also working on learning Art Rage as well.

Graphic Design is one of my top subjects! I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, even a minor in marketing to help shed light on that side of the trade. I have experience in 3 Graphic Design positions. I even have experience creating and branding my own business.

I spent 4 years at Bowling Green State University earning my BFA in Graphic Design and my Associates in Marketing. From there I have been working to build my own online business for about two years. Each year I see a growth in customers and I expand my product line with new hand crafted goods. I have worked for companies such as Dayton Business Journal, and iHeart Media. I have a great work ethic and I am not afraid to tell people how I feel, for I believe that is the only way we and others can grow.
I am very good at putting myself in other peoples shoes which makes my teaching style moldable. That is there is no one way to teach a student, you have to find out what speaks to them and teach them the way that they learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

I can teach many different styles to suit different learning styles. I truly believe in the mastery technique. My 9 year old has ADD and severe dyslexia so i have to employ many different styles to meet her needs. Being a great teacher is all about knowing and understanding your student and how they learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

At La Roche College, we were in direct competition with the Art Institiue of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, and California University of Pennsylvania. We were held to very high standards and were taught ways to apply the design and marketing principles to any kind of job offered to us. I was in my sophomore year of college when I was named Sophomore class representative, and later president of Praxis, the student organization for graphic design on campus. I won the leadership award, the top honor in the department for my services as president of both Praxis, and AIGA, the professional association for design. I have taught a few classes at the school for local 8th graders in the surrounding Pittsburgh areas as well.
