I love teaching and working with children. I love English. I love seeing the expression in the eye of a student who finally understands the concepts. I know what it is like to struggle and get frustrated. In Jr high I was tutored in English and math. Once I understood the concepts there was no stopping me. I would love to help your student the way someone helped me once. I am a patient, kind and loving mother. I believe English is the corner stone of education, and the key to future success. Many times a loving teacher, who takes the time necessary, is all a student needs to succeed. As an English major I have always enjoyed and excelled in the field. I was top of my class in high school. I also aided in the kindergarten class. I changed my major in college because I knew English was my calling. I have a Bachelor's degree from Warner Pacific. I am here to help students improve in specific subjects and excel academically as a whole. My greatest attributes are patience, perseverance, and hard-work. I always arrive on time and I take work and school seriously. I will be a source of encouragement and support for my students. I benefited from the liberal arts education I received from the University of Puget Sound, which offered a diverse selection of classes and an exploratory environment in which to pursue my studies. I eventually majored in International Political Economy and obtained minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies.
