From September 1999 to February 2002 I worked at Monroe Community College as a math and computer science tutor. From September 2007 to June 2011 I worked at Iglesia Services as a math, science, social studies, and English tutor. From July 2008 to December 2009 I worked at Rochester Institute of Technology as a math teacher. From April 2012 to current I worked at East House Learning Center as a math and computer tutor.

At SUNY at Buffalo, I was an assistant for courses in calculus of a single variable, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra; at SUNY at Brockport, I was the instructor of a course in basic algebra. I was born and raised in Vietnam. My parents wanted me to have the best education possible. As such, they sent me to the finest schools they could afford. The educational system back home "forced" every student to learn every subject in the native tongue and in a foreign language. Mine was French. If it looks like children are struggling with assignments, I help them to learn the necessary skills. I strongly believe that every student can learn math.
