I have tutored on a volunteer basis with the Holyoke Tutor/Mentor Program for more than a year. I have also tutored privately. My experience has been with adults, however, I would like to add experience working with secondary school students. A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I obtained a wealth of knowledge in the fields of math and science. I did this by striving for excellence in the classroom and participating in cutting edge research with professors in the Entomology and Organic Chemistry departments. My extensive knowledge of the subjects I’ve studied has allowed me to assist my friends in understanding complex and difficult problems. This past year I privately tutored classmates in both Statistics and Organic Chemistry.
I believe the best way for someone to learn something is through application and repetition. As both a tutor and youth lacrosse coach I have had success by teaching my students how to approach problems rather than simply giving them answers. A Little Bit About Me...

With my major throughout College all areas of Business were reviewed, Marketing, Management, Accounting & Finance and then one was chosen as your concentration to primarily focus on. I chose Finance with a minor in Information Systems. I have done accounting and payroll for about six years prior to about a year and a half ago switching over to do work in Information Systems where I am presently. I enjoy working with the mathematical side of my major very much and bring a lot of experience with that from my education. Math is definitely a strong suit for me.
