Ever since I was in Honors English in high school back in the seventies (yes, I am a "well seasoned" teacher versus "an old teacher"), I knew that I wanted to dedicate my college years to taking every writing and literature class I could get my hands on. I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. A Little Bit About Me...

I served as a tutor, primarily for English, History, and writing, for three years while attending Southern Vermont College. Following graduation, I worked for three years as a paraprofessional for Leland & Gray Union High School. While working in this capacity there were several one on one situations similar to the relationship that exists between tutors and their students.
