I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. In most of those cases I was teaching English, but I also taught key aspects of health, sustainable development, lifelong skills and leadership. I taught classes ranging in size between 5 and 100. I am an accomplished writer and enjoy tutoring in English composition, literature and grammar, as well as foreign language. I believe strongly in education and deem that it is a catalyst for growth, change and success, whether for an individual or a nation.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a substitute teacher for grades K-12 since 2001 and worked as a tutor for Siena's Higher Education Opportunity Program. As an educational consultant for 3 years, I coordinated college fairs, campus visits, and taught workshops on Writing the College Application Essay. I won several awards for my undergraduate senior thesis and was inducted into honor societies and "Who's Who Among American Universities and Colleges." I have taken courses in Contemporary American Education, Educational Psychology, Language and Literacy, Developmental Psychology and Collaboration in Educational Settings.
