I am a firm believer that teaching requires the passing of understanding and not just knowledge. Everyone learns in a different way, and as such information must be presented in different ways to get through to differing individuals. If a student can gain understanding in any subject, they will always retain that understanding even if the knowledge has been temporarily misplaced. I am driven to help others achieve understanding in any area that I am trying to teach. I have excelled in mathematics since early childhood. As such, I pursued a career in engineering and technology. I acquired a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, and did so in 3 years. I have spent a great deal of time over the past 15 years instructing others in mathematics,physics, and the sciences ranging from grade school to college level to fellow colleagues within my various careers.
