I have over 15 years experience in the Accounting field as well as have owned several successful businesses in the IT industry of which I functioned in the daily business operations and all financial accounting duties. I also homeschooled my children from pre-school up to grade five, as well as taught Sunday school at church for several years. My tutoring experience consists of friends over the years, however it has always been something I was very good at. I decided to make a career change after working at Fidelity Investments for five years now to something I have a passion for, teaching children. A Little Bit About Me...

Following my graduation from the University of Connecticut I pursued a career in the insurance industry but have also spent time working as a youth group leader and worked as a part-time tutor for several years. While living in Connecticut I tutored homebound high school age children who were either out on medical leave or expelled for disciplinary purposes. I am proud to report that in addition to several other students, I provided tutoring for a full course load covering an entire year for one expelled student who improved grades in every course and went on to graduate. I have also created training programs and hired and trained numerous employees in the insurance industry and serve as co-chair for an annual insurance educational conference held in New York City.
