I strive for diversity of skill set. I obtained my degree in Law and Justice at which time I made the switch from fourteen years enlisted Air Force and joined the ranks of Air Force officer. Education is very important to me. Just recently, I have graduated with honors and magna cum laude from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. My undergraduate GPA in college was 3.95 and my High School GPA was a 3.98. In the past four years, I have taught Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry laboratory. Learners need to obtain information from a variety of stimuli to fully understand a concept. What is successful for one student may not work for an other. Therefore, I try to present each topic in several different ways. For example, on a recent unit in mass-mass stoichiometry, students were able to witness a demonstration, complete a laboratory experience, have discussions on the subject, and then practice. By breaking the information down to the simplest form and giving students a variety of avenues to understand, the students were able to succeed.
