As an undergraduate, I acquired both a BS and a BA, demonstrating wide range of abilities. I worked as a high school Spanish teacher, a third grade Spanish teacher, economics tutor, and also tutored students in my free time during my post graduate work in pre medical studies at Penn State University in University Park, PA. I believe that learning is best achieved in a comfortable, nothreatening enviroment. People learn best when they understand the importance of the material being taught, something I strive to convey to my students. While I can easily teach a didactic lecturing style, I feel that an interactive approach often better meets the needs of the students. Ultimately, education is a reflection of the students success and the teacher is merely a means to that end.
My experience in teaching is broad and varied. I have taught medical students, other physicians, technologists, as well as teaching at military facilities. In additiom, I have two school age children myself and I believe that I am their primary teacher. This varied teaching experience allows me to tailor my teaching methods to the students and has allowed me to gain a great fund of knowledge.
