Teaching and working with children not only educates them but it educates myself in the process. Children can become unfocused very easily. When children are distracted it may be very difficult to get them focused. Taking your time and making sure they refocus, can actually save time. I enjoy earnest and humble students, learning with and from them. I feel uncomfortable not learning laterally as well as vertically, seeing that to be knowledgeable, one must not just memorize but ruminate on what was memorized, making as many lateral connections as expedient. I like to simply direct and expand a student's learning as opposed to an artifactual accomplishment; however, my premiere obligation is punctual achievement of task. I hold a BS from St. Bonaventure University in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Integrating Technology into the Classroom from Walden University. I graduated 7th of 645 from St. Bonaventure, where I focused on teaching with hands-on activities and technology infused lessons.
