I firmly believe that if a subject seems incomprehensible, nine times out of ten it is the professor and NOT the intelligence of the student. Likewise, I believe lack of effort or motivation also play a significant roll when a student performs poorly. I volunteer at City Rescue Mission. I have tutored children with their homework for more then 6 months. I continue to work at Rose State College as a math tutor in subjects up to College Algebra. I have earned a bachelor degree from UCO in forensic science which required knowledge of Calculus.

I love to learn and everyone learns differently. I believe that if the information is not being understood one way, then we need to find another way to instruct. Hands-on learning and learning through experience always leaves a lasting impression. Just memorizing facts, although in some cases that is necessary, it is just not fun for all students and just may not stick unless learned in a fun way. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education.
