I also coached a junior rah rah camp throughout high school. I began my study of American Sign Language (ASL) at the tender age of 12, then studied Latin in high school with Mrs. Ellen Conrad. When I reached college, I continued my study of ASL while tutoring friends in Latin. I have studied Arabic and Irish Gaelic at the college level, and dabbled in Spanish, Hawaiian Creole, and various African languages. In addition to learning, I love to teach. I began teaching ASL while I was still a high school student, and continue tutoring friends in ASL and Latin. I have always been very mathematical, even though I did little to cultivate it. One of my favorite classes in college was a statistics course I took, and the other was a logic class. I love to read books, and I enjoy chess as a hobby. Teaching is my true passion, and I regret leaving a teaching job to pursue a law degree, and I can only hope to pick up where I left off.
