Civil Engineering is one of my top subjects! I can help with grading, drainage, pipe design, road design, drafting, permitting and many other on the job related tasks.

My experience is mostly in residential and commercial applications for roadways and underground utility design. My style of teaching consists of two parts: first, to understand and visualize the concept and the problem; and second, doing the mechanics of problem solving. I prefer to work with the basic equations rather than memorizing the variations of the formula. I work with examples.
I work as a civil engineer and geophysicist. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Physics and BS in International Business which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many various areas of study. As a Civil Engineering graduate I know how difficult classes and the work load can be. For mathematics my teaching style is to have the students understand the core concept. Since without a good understanding of this it becomes extremely difficult and sometimes impossible to understand the rest of the subject. I am very hands on and teach through both visual and verbal skills.
