I like to work one on one with books. I write out examples and explain different ways to approach a problem to help Foster different learning styles. I think it is important to be able to teach when the school systems move from books to tablets for classrooms.

LOVE TO TEACH!!

I am beginning my 14th year of teaching. I have taught from 3rd to 6th grade, with a heavy focus on Reading and Language. I also taught Adult Literacy classes and have worked as the Reading Specialist at our school which involved working with teachers on best practice in Reading Instruction. I missed my "babies" and went back into the classroom and have never looked back. I also taught the 4 modes of writing to our 5th graders in order to prepare them for The Alabama Direct Assessment of Writing.
I have a calm, loving environment in my classroom. I expect the best from my students and they never let me down. I play classical music during their work time and allow them to work in partners, groups, and individually daily. A Little Bit About Me...

Very hands on. I use one on one teaching methods to work with kids.
I am not a certified teacher but do have a highschool diploma from Coosa High School. I am currently a working college student, in which I want to major in English. I plan on teaching middle grades English and coaching girls basketball. I am a very good writer and speller. I am fairly creative which helps with my writing process.
