I like to use illustrations whenever possible, videos, photographs, drawings... I like making connections to things that may seem unrelated - I think this strengthens neuro-pathways and thought processes. I also think that laughter stimulates learning, so I like students to feel at ease - I will make myself look dumb if it will make someone laugh and relax. Over 20 years of teaching experience as a school music teacher, private piano and theory instructor, and conductor for church and community choirs. I work to make every students meet her goals, thus, each lesson is designed to particular student. I accept students age of 5 up to 70. I guarantee each student to be able to play piano for less than six months. My lessons include also general musicianship as I teach about greatest composers, style, performers, and theory.
