Calculus I Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Welch, OK

I had Algebra 1 my 7th grade year, geometry my 8th, algebra 2 9th, statistics 10th, trig 11th, and calculus 12th. I'm in the mechanical engineering program in TCC and currently in calculus 2. I can help in calc 2 but haven't really mastered it yet, anything below i'm pretty well off. Math has been the only thing that i enjoyed doing in school, and i want other students to feel the same way! one on one is the best for me, i dig deep in the material and make sure the student knows everything they need to know. I know what it's like to be lost, and i want to prevent that from ever happening to anyone as much as i can help it.

I like to work with children of all types. I think that anybody has the capability to learn if they really want to. What makes me a great teacher is that I have patience and the understanding to work with anyone. I explain things in a way that whomever I am tutoring can relate to and benefit from the most. I am very social and outgoing which I think is important in helping identifying a student's specific learning needs. I enjoy helping others and want to use my abilities in a positive way. I recently graduated from NSU with a BS in Chemistry as well as minors in Biology and Math. I have very good writing skills not only because of writing lab reports but I worked for the university in the community relations office. My teaching style is patient and creative. I seem to find unique ways and examples that the learner can understand to help describe how to solve problems. I’m not afraid to admit if I’m not confident of an answer to a question and will do all I can to figure out the solution that makes the best sense to the student. I’m flexible with regards to teaching for different learning styles because not everyone learns the same way. My tutoring can extend from grade school kids to college students.
