A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked the past two semesters as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University. In the fall, I taught a weekly section of 14 students in Introductory Nutrition and this past semester, I instructed a lab group of 10 students in Human Anatomy and Physiology. Additionally, I have done both volunteer and private tutoring for standardized tests and individual subjects consistently for about 7 years. I have tutored for SATs, MCATs, as well as a variety of subject tests, ranging from mathematics to Spanish. I was fortunate to be able to enter college full-time at the age of fourteen. This gave a great opportunity to pursue a wide variety of interests and still graduate slightly ahead of my peers. As a result I had almost completed the requirements for majors in several subjects, including chemistry, German, music and the subject I received my degree in, biology. In addition to taking courses in these subjects, I was able to work as a German tutor for over a year and as a teaching assistant for two sections of first semester organic chemistry.
