I am very relaxed around children, and I try to create a patient and encouraging learning environment. When this approach is not appropriate to the question being asked, I encourage logical thinking, taking the question and its answer step-by-step to their rational conclusion. Additionally, because my love of literature is supported by my interest in history, I try to present ideas across disciplines whenever possible to give a more complete picture. No two children are the same, and we know that this is correct, so therefore it applies to their learning ability as well. Some children need visual simulation to really ingrain the principle that is trying to be understood. While other's learn by complete repetition.
