Also, I believe that a "set" lesson plan is worthless for English because who's to say that everyone with a specific problem is not understanding it for the same reason? Three years of experience in writing and editing as a staff member at the Grand Valley Lanthorn, a student-run newspaper at GVSU. I began as an intern and held various writing and editing jobs throughout my tenure, ultimately departing as editor in chief. I tutored with the Writing Fellows every Thursday at Schoolcraft College when I was working towards my Associate's in Liberal Arts. I helped students write and edit their papers. The primary focus was English but there were a few Social Studies/History students thrown in there. I graduated in April 2009 from Eastern Michigan University with my Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media and Film with a Minor in Creative Writing.
