My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : Grammar goes hand in hand with writing, in my opinion. I incorporate grammar with writing lessons. Most students find grammar boring so I try to make it interesting for them.

I have over 25 years teaching in an elementary school. I have worked extensively with children who fall below grade level or need extra help. I use games and manipulative when working with students. I encourage them to do their best and reward them for a job well done. I also involve the parent, leting them know each time what was done and where we are headed.
