My personal style of learning is to learn by doing. I get my students involved in any process and get them to actually do the work so they learn it from experience, not just reading about it and taking for granted they know what is going on. I was a student teacher for 8th grade language arts, and then I was a real teacher for 6th grade English. I have taken 18 hours of graduate level English classes, and this is more than is required to earn a Master's degree in secondary English education.
