I am an upcoming May 2006 graduate from Allegheny College, majoring in English. Given my background at a small, liberal arts college and being a former biochemistry major, I have a great understanding of language arts, math and science. I have completed a 60 page research project as well completed numerous written projects throughout my college career, that have undoubtedly strengthened my writing skills. In high school, as well as in college, I have tutored students anywhere from the middle school level to the high school level in all subjects. A Little Bit About Me...

As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.

I've always been driven to help others understand subjects on a deep level. When I was in high school, I taught my brother basic algebra. (He was ten years old at the time.) As the editor of a high IQ society's official publication, I work with people to help their submissions meet their full potential. My undergraduate degree is in economics, and my graduate degree is an MBA with a concentration in finance.
