Theatre Is Fun, So Let's Have Fun

I have experience in theatrical design (costume and set painting), and performance (drama, musicals, comedies). I also have worked with children as a mentor in KidStage (an after school theatre program) in which I taught theatre skills, games, styles to children between ages 6-10. I also went to school for history, so have experience with writing papers, research projects, and finding crucial historical information for tests and exams.
I love to make it fun. Theatre (as well as History) should be fun. Learning should be fun. When someone enjoys learning, they want to learn more! I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography.
