I love that look that you get from a child who gets what you are teaching them. When the light bulb turns on, and you know that they understand the process. That's what makes it all worth it. My teaching style is that with enough work, any child can succeed. They just have to know they matter to the teacher. I am a hands on learner myself so visual tools help me to teach the concepts to students.
I am a graduate of Clemson University, with a BA in Biological Sciences. I have always enjoyed biology since my first AP class my Junior year of high school. Many college freshmen struggle with Biology 101. While some universities have services to students, not all institutions are fortunate enough to give their students free access to tutoring. Therefore, I believe that it is important to set a solid foundation for the sciences in both middle and high school levels.
