At the undergraduate level, as a high honors student, I took the opportunity to tutor psychology and biology undergraduates. I also received a TA position for Research Methods in psychology. I also volunteered for 2 years mentoring underprivileged Junior HS students. I continued to teach and tutor when I entered grad school. I received two TA positions, one teaching general biology labs and another teaching anatomy and physiology labs. In my second year of graduate school, I worked at a science and math magnet school for HS students, managing student projects in the animal labs. I enjoying tutoring all subjects, but Spanish is certainly my passion. I develop new lessons for each meeting based on the needs of the client. I am flexible (but not lenient), and I can teach using conventional or non-conventional methods depending on what works for the client. I know that different people learn in different ways.
