I began teaching in 2001 in Caddo Parish. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade. I have also tutored kindergarten-4th grade students in my home for 10 years. I'm currently at Arthur Circle in Shreveport, La. I have two daughters who are 11 and 13, who are in the Gateway Program at Caddo Middle Magnet. I have worked hard with them on all areas of study since they were very young. I've taught my students and my daughters the best ways to study, how to comprehend what they are learning about, and I encourage them to always ask questions.

i am very open to sugestions, and i believe you learn by association and not by translation
i used to help some kids in argentina with their portuguese classes and in brazil i used to help the kids with their Spanish classes. I encouraged them to like the language by listening to a song they could like, singing it along, ad then understanding the meaning of it. it made the classes very fun.
