I served as a tutor, primarily for English, History, and writing, for three years while attending Southern Vermont College. Following graduation, I worked for three years as a paraprofessional for Leland & Gray Union High School. While working in this capacity there were several one on one situations similar to the relationship that exists between tutors and their students. In addition to the aforementioned subjects I tutored while in college, I also assisted students in other areas such as basic math and general science.

I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. As a teacher, I bring passion for both creativity-based and logic-based subjects. I don't subscribe to the right-brain/left-brain paradigm. I believe students can be strong in both mathematics and writing, and it is my desire to help students realize this, because so few people do.
