As an undergraduate at Muhlenberg College, I had the opportunity to serve as a peer tutor in mathematics to incoming freshmen. I enjoyed the experience of helping other students succeed. I have a bachelor's degree in Physical Science which allowed me to gain knowledge in the fields of mathematics and physics. I decided to further my education in the field of Applied Mathematics. In my experience with teaching, I find that the best way to connect and convey the information is to provide aural, visual and experiential exposure to the material. Everyone does not learn at the same pace or through the same exposure to material.
